Radek has taken the reins of leadership for VOLANT from us. Often I forget that he is only 21. He is young, but he has wisdom and character that are far beyond his age. He has been my Timothy here and it gives me great joy to see him flourishing as a ministry leader in our church and in Sumperk.
Jirka, is a young leader in our church who trusted Christ just 2 years ago. He is working with jr. highers and young high schoolers in our church and particularly likes to use sports and outdoor activities as a way of connecting students with Jesus.
Tomas is the youth pastor in Vikyrovice Baptist church. Vikyrovice is a village that is attached to Sumperk. Cassie and I have helped Tomas and his church with English camps for several years.
All 3 of these guys graduated from Staz this year. Staz is a 9 month intensive school for Czech youth leaders created by Josiah Venture. These guys worked in their local church as well as attended seminars, memored scripture, wrote papers, visited other groups, and took part in coaching/accountability groups for the whole school year.
